Rubber Stamped lotus flower card

Good old fashioned rubber stamping has been the staple of the cardmaker for years, but it has gone slightly out of fashion in favour of die cutting and embossing. This lotus flower card made recently is a reason why I still enjoy stamping. 

Rubber Stamp Heat Embossing

Rubber stamping and using white embossing powders create a shiney effect and the technique is see in Papercrafter magazine issue 94 page 42 - the photo never does it justice!

Sponged Flowers

Back to rubber stamping,inspired by blogland, where ink is sponged around a stamped image. I don't usually leave so much blank space around an image on a card, as it can look wasted space in photography and the central image doesn't always show up well. However for the purposes of this blog its fine today.

Bright Floral Stamping

More flowery stamping but a change from the monochome black and white.

Black & White

A black and white theme for this card with various stamps printed in black on a strip of white card, and then mounted to the main card, with a single stamp printed direct to the card bottom left.

Stamped flowers

Thank you to Sue who stamped these flowers for me and all I had to do was colour them in with ProMarkers and dust with some chalk - card made, job done.

Quick stamping

Super fast stamping using the rubber stamp tapestry set, it is such a quick method to make a card.

Letter stickers

Several sheets of sticky letters have been hanging around for at least a year and so now the task is to make words using the left over letters - hence "new home"

Returning to rubber stamping today with a rubber stamped card using the floral tapestry set.

High Heels

Three rubber stamps of posh shoes and high heels is printed on to paper, coloured in and cut out.

Bird in flight

One of my favourite bird rubber stamps, printed on to card and then cut out with patterned papers making the tree foliage. Bird legs went wobbly on the textured card as I drew them on.
