Rubber Stamped lotus flower card

Good old fashioned rubber stamping has been the staple of the cardmaker for years, but it has gone slightly out of fashion in favour of die cutting and embossing. This lotus flower card made recently is a reason why I still enjoy stamping.

Sponged Flowers

Back to rubber stamping, inspired by blogland, where ink is sponged around a stamped image. I don't usually leave so much blank space around an image on a card, as it can look wasted space in photography and the central image doesn't always show up well. However for the purposes of this blog its fine today.
