Paper Embossing

Embossing card and paper with a die cutter is so easy - the textures made can be used to feature on a Christmas card such as the one I made for this months PaperCrafter magazine. The stack of presents card is on the cover and page 88 inside.

Knitted Poppy

Last week there was a wonderful display of knitted poppies for Armistice day in the local post office, for sale in aid of the Poppy Appeal with proceeds to the Royal British Legion. All the poppies were slightly different and carefully made with bead detail, crafted by a local knitter.

Geometric Snowflakes

A variation on the usual quilled snowflakes can be found in the latest issue of Crafts Beautiful magazine November issue out now. I've used a Border Buddy Tool ™ to make diamonds of paper, then they are glued together for a geometric design. Although its a bright sunny autumn day here in the UK it's not too early to planning snowflake cards and decorations......
