Frilly flower friday

I have so many different fringed flower cards I think I will have to make a friday feature of it. The larger flowers are fringed by cutting wide paper strips, or vellum as in this card, by hand with large scissors. The quilling tool is used to coil the strip with a length of 3mm wide paper making the centre. When using papers or vellum the fringes often have to be curled with the edge of a scissor blade (as you would ribbon) to make it a frilly flower.
